Let's Get Organized - "Celebrating YOU" 2014
Hey there my crafty friends!! Chauntelle here and welcome to my Monday Morning Inspirations!! Each week I will bring to you something to get your juices going and help your creativity flow!! I am hopeful that you will be inspired!!
I love to create cards and share them with my friends and family during holidays, anniversaries, birthdays, etc.; the problem with that is....I sometimes FORGET!! :o) So what I decided to try for 2014 is to create a card box file using this awesome cutting file from The Cutting Cafe to serve as a reminder of birth dates and placeholders if I want to create the cards in advance!! Two for One, I love it!!! You could create this same file for other reason as well (e.g., sympathy, get well, reminders) the possibilities are endless and better than that Regina (owner of The Cutting Cafe) has designed several different sentiments to go along with the box set!! Take a look!!
I simply printed the images with my HP printer and cut them with a scissor!! Never fear....you can use your cutting machine if you prefer!! Let me just mention that what I did was take the top for the box file and put it on the bottom. Not only does it help stabilize my card box but it will also keep things visible for me to help as my reminder!! Remember.....I tend to forget birth dates!! Heehee

Here's a side view:
I've added a few cards I already had on hand so you can see the expansion possibilities!! It will hold quite a few cards in each of the 12 calendar month slots included. Here I use a printable chevron patterned paper also available on The Cutting Cafe to cover the outside perimeter and each individual index card.
As shown here:
I used embellishments to coordinating each index card with the season for that month (where available) and there ya go!!
If you can see below I circled the date of a birthday on the calendar front and on the back, with a two column chart I created in MSWord; I write in who's birthday it is and their age (if I know it); can you see that??!
Well, thank you so very much for stopping by today; I really hope you were inspired!! Head on over to the The Cutting Cafe to purchase any of the files I have used here and get them INSTANTLY downloaded to your PC.
