I am having a lot of fun playing with the new Everyday Elisha Jean & Friends Stamp Set available at The Cutting Cafe Shop !!  For some reason Ruby J is my favorite!!  LOL! Check out the card I made which was also my first time creating the pleated fold card and I am in love!!   I also used the word stamps included with the set to create the sentiment and to add a few hearts.  Ruby J's dress is paper pieced and although you can't really see in the picture her shoes, headband, pockets & earrings have been blinged with a glitter pen!! I popped Ruby J up on pop dots to give some dimension and laid her down on a lace doily.  The ribbon and flower come from my stash!! Good morning!!  Thanks for stopping by my blog today!!  This post is all about the famous " bendi card " craze going on right now.  Regina is so amazing that she decided to create a " Cutting Cafe " bendi card of her own to share with all of us and this week the design team post is all about showing off the bendi card!! I used some valentine paper in wine color and a flower print to create what I'm calling "A bouquet of Birthday Wishes" because I also used some flower sprays from my local store to accent the open areas of the card.  The sentiment comes with the file and I added an outline to help the words standout from the paper backing.  Some lace trim and string of bling finish off the bottom area.   Check out some pics! It's Inspiration Time over at The Cutting Cafe blog !!  Thanks for stopping by today!!  This week we are playing with baskets!!  I chose to create a gift using the Round Basket with Handles file available - RIGHT NOW - from The Cutting Cafe !!  It's Administrative Professionals Week and I have a few employees that I like to celebrate each year; if you've been following my blog you've seen gifts I made for them in the past.   This file was super easy to work with, I love that it has the tabbed edges along the bottom of the file that easily attach to the bottom base for closure.  I used my cutting machine but this file is simple enough that it can be printed and cut by hand!! For the photo I placed some decorative flowers in the tiny vase with beads but I will be adding fresh flowers to this gift before the recipient gets it.  I really love how quickly it came together!! Here there, Chauntelle here with another project for The Cutting Cafe Blog !!  This week's project was dedicated to the packaging; packaged gifts, treats, etc. it was all up to the crafter!!  As I mentioned in an earlier post I participated in Tmika's Shaped Card Swap and I chose The CD holder set which was PERFECT for the task!! Check out this cuteness!! Hello there, thanks for stopping by today!!  I'm here with another design team project for The Cutting Cafe . This week we were able to play with some super fun hat files; I chose to create my project using The Party Hat file .  I thought it would be a nice idea to create an adult party hat but not for "New Year's Eve"; we adults like to celebrate too so this one is dedicated to the "40/40" Club!!   How cute would this be to add to your birthday outfit for that night on the town to celebrate the 40th birthday!!  A little paisley print never hurt nobody!! heehee The file also comes with accessory pieces: small and large letters, birthday greeting and hat top trimming!! I added a scallop circle with my sentiment, a cute Prima flower with an added brad in the center and stuck in a feather for flare!!  Its perfect!!  I just love it!!

Hi there, thank you for stopping by today to check out my project this week!!  Today I used the Flower Pot Shaped Card Set from The Cutting Cafe to create this gift bag holder.  I added a Happy Mother's Day sentiment but you can recreate this project for many different occasions!! The cutting file also comes with flowers that you can cut and add to this project but here I used some flowers from Kaiser Kraft, Recollections, Micheal's and one I crocheted myself with a Prima flower center....I really wanted to use it here like a proud momma! heehee Here is a side view.  Inside is a bottle of lotion so you can see the depth of the holder.  You can fill it with many different treats for any occasion or any person!  Thanks again for stopping by today!!

Hey crafty friends, I gotta tell ya, I do LOVE my chocolate!!  Yummy!!  Here is a project I created just to hold my chocolate treats when I'm sitting at my craft table!! I'm finishing up some Hershey's kisses from Christmas time but they are just as delicious as the Easter or Valentine wrapped kisses! Heehee Here I'm using the Paper Flowers Set from The Cutting Cafe to accent my mini muffin pans I picked up at the Dollar Tree.  You could by three sets and make 6 of these to give out to your family and friends, teacher, etc. It's an awesome little way to say, "thank you"; "I love you", etc. The bottoms of the pans are glued together to make this hour-glass shape; I've added some teardrop trim and lace around the top and bottom areas.  A bit more trim with tiny little scallops accent the center!! I've been having so much fun learning to knit flowers!!  Its true that there is a tutorial for just about ANYTHING you need on YouTube!!  heehee  I tried my hand at this early 2013 but the inability to get it together caused me to sit it aside and focus my great energy elsewhere!  How ironic that one year later, in the same month, I have a go at it again AND I got it!!  I've only learned a few patterns so far but I am excited about them and continue to learn more!!  Knitting is actually fun and relaxing.  I doubt I'll ever get to a level where I can do tutorials and teach others but hey, you just never know!! DIY Candle holders - Home Decor Hey there my crafty friends!! Thanks for stopping by today!!  I wanted to share a quick DIY project I completed today in just about an hour's time to help fill in the blank space on my mantel now that the Christmas decorations have been packed away!! Heehee This project was inspired by a pin on Pinterest and I added my own touches.  I hope you like it!!  Leave me some comment love and let me know what you think!! Supplies :  Candle stands from the Dollar Store; candle holders in a variety of sizes with vanilla candles to fit and a bag of coffee beans. Then I embellished each one differently with some twine, ribbon, flowers, bottle cap and a filigree.  Each one is different but easily fit together to create a set!!
