Golfer's LIFE!

Image
Hey there everyone!!  So glad you stopped by today; if you are a follower of mine on Facebook you will know that I am a fan of the "golf" game!!  My skills may not be LPGA relevant but I am pretty good with getting the ball to the hole!! :o)  I started playing about two years ago to find a way to SEE my husband for more hours during the day.....because that's where he would be..LOL........and today I'm getting out there without him trying to improve my game!!  Go figure! Any who, I divert; this week's project for The Cutting Cafe features the Golf Word Shaped Card Set .  I was really attracted to this file because its related to a sport I'm loving right now.  Before I get into pics let me just say that I have been having an awesome experience designing for Regina's shop and feel so blessed with the opportunity; and I thank each and everyone of you for supporting me through this journey with your views and lovely comments!! This week's post also mar

The "First Years" - a Moment in Time

Image
Hey there friends!  I'm here with a memory keepsake today.  I created a photo book to capture the early years of my daughter's childhood!! I used the Numbers Window Cards from The Cutting Cafe.  The set comes with numbers zero to 9; I created a card for each year but without cutting the number out.  Instead I used my Silhouette to color in the numbered area and print then cut each one.  I added a mat and journal page to the inside of each card then bound them together on its edge with some seam-binding and ribbon. Each one captures a sentiment "most likely" said at that age, which I thought was cute because my daughter was definitely independent and opinionated during these years!!  LOL, I love it though. I hope you were inspired to go create something like this to remember moments in time with your little ones too!!  Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

"Nice Cheesy Smile" - Shadow Box

Image
Hey there friends, just popping in to share this project with you I created using the Shadow/Configuration Box file from "The Cutting Cafe"!  I adore this project, I know I'm bias (heehee), but it was really easy to cut and put together.  I created this shadow box: I used some of my favorite pictures of my husband and I inside; this year we have been together for 23yrs!  I used two brads "2" and "3" to mark the occasion. On the left I added a glass bead charm I made; it went with this project really well.  Some tulle and flowers accent other areas of each box section. Thank you so much for stopping by today and checking out my project.  Head on over to The Cutting Cafe for this file and get creating!!
