Happy Holiday!!

Happy Holidays to you ALL!!  Welcome to my blog!!  I love the Christmas season....it gives me the opportunity to shower everyone in my family and give back to those in need too.  I do these things all year round but there is something extra special about the holiday season that fills the heart with JOY and to be able to help those less fortunate is always a plus!!

 So my family's holiday gathering this year served as a two for one event!!  We had time to spend chatting it up with one another, being creative making ornaments AND fill these boxes to be donated to the inner-city youth at my nephews Alma mater!!  What joy!!


I wanted to do something extra special for my family of four; we wore white tops with blue jeans and I made these ribbons using a file from The Cutting Cafe.  They came out super cute and really shows the versatility of this file!!


Never-mind my handwriting (LOL); I wanted to use this silver gel pen to write the sentiment but I just don't have the touch so its what it is! :o)

I used some felt and a button pin so we could wear them on our shirts!!  INGENIOUS!!!

Here's how the Gift Bow looks without the added extras I did.


I absolutely love this file because it can be used for any occasion with the right paper!!  You could also create something like I did or use them to add to a flower pot on a stick!!  So many possibilities with just the one file....its amazing!!  So what do you think?  I hope you enjoyed my post for this 21st day of December and look forward to reading your comments!!

Hey my crafty friends!!  Today I'd like to share with you my design team post for The Cutting Cafe - December 21st post!!  This week was a free week....Christmas themed; which was perfect for the holiday season and opportunity to fill that "last minute" Christmas gift giving list! Do you know the farmer who had a dog??  What was his name??  BINGO!!  Oh, yes!! LOL!! Good morning everybody!!  Welcome back to my blog today for a project share from The Cutting Cafe !!  Today we are doing something super special; we're having a blog hop!  Blog hops are super fun and gives you links to see many, many projects in one place at one time without having to search all over the place to find inspiration!!  You should be coming to me from Patti Gilliam  wasn't her project just lovely!!  OK, to create my project I used a combination of files which is quite easy to do with most of the files over at The Cutting Cafe!!  For my project I used The Stationary Box Set and the Monogram Set.    In this set you get everything you need to create some beautiful boxes (with or without a window); envelope maker template and monograms from A to Z with different shapes & designs!!
