Golfer's LIFE!

Hey there everyone!!  So glad you stopped by today; if you are a follower of mine on Facebook you will know that I am a fan of the "golf" game!!  My skills may not be LPGA relevant but I am pretty good with getting the ball to the hole!! :o)  I started playing about two years ago to find a way to SEE my husband for more hours during the day.....because that's where he would be..LOL........and today I'm getting out there without him trying to improve my game!!  Go figure!

Any who, I divert; this week's project for The Cutting Cafe features the Golf Word Shaped Card Set.  I was really attracted to this file because its related to a sport I'm loving right now.  Before I get into pics let me just say that I have been having an awesome experience designing for Regina's shop and feel so blessed with the opportunity; and I thank each and everyone of you for supporting me through this journey with your views and lovely comments!!

This week's post also marks the "end" of the dt term; but I am happy to announce that I will be continuing on with the team until October 2014 to bring you more projects of inspiration!!  So stay tuned for upcoming projects!!  Ok, so without further ado on to my mini album!!

I created this mini album to record the courses we visit this year along with the score cards to keep track of my progress.  The letters and sentiment at the bottom both come from the Card Set linked above.  I had this golfer in my Silhouette files so I used it to cut out and attached the golfer teeing off inside the scallop oval.

There are 8 paper bag pages included in this album from March to October which is the months in which we play most.  I used a two pieces of light-weight chipboard for the back and front covers.  Its also worth mentioning that I cut the scallop oval out of cork board paper from DCWV and a Spellbinders die.

Each page is pretty basic inside for now because I intend to add a picture from each place we visit during that month to the front page of each paper bag folder; you know, add as I go....its gonna be so much fun!!

The score cards are just the perfect size to fit inside the pockets, I'm loving this project and how it turned out!!  Do you have a favorite summer time activity that you just LOVE!??

Well, thank you again so very much for stopping by today and hanging out with me!!  To mark the end of this design team term, I'd like to have a GIVEAWAY!!  Are you down??!!  If you'd like to be entered to win a $10 gift certificate to shop at The Cutting Cafe all you need to do is be a follower of my blog and leave a comment on this post letting me know what is your favorite "summertime" activity!!  Winner will be selected on Wednesday, May 7, 2014.  Good Luck!!

very cute mini, I love the idea of being able to track your progress. Ok now you gotta do one with a girl teeing off, or a layout would be cute...

Oh, this is the BEST! I absolutely LOVE his golf pants! I am a terrible golfer -- I can't get that little white ball in the hole for anything! Me? I'd rather be kayaking!
