Smile for the camera!

Hey there, it’s been a minute but I’m here today to share a project with you I made using Christmas Photo Booth Props file from The Cutting Cafe.  This file was super fun to play with, the images cut really easily and adding embellishments was a snap!!  You wanna add a little fun and humor to your holiday photos?!  Head on over to The Cutting Cafe and get this file for yourself!!  Don’t have a cutting machine? No problem, you can print out the pdf files and cut with scissors!!

Check out below for more details on how I pulled each piece together.  Hope you enjoy and Happy Holidays!!

Santa's hat and glasses!!  I used some matching papers to embellish the hat and some flat-back rhinestones to embellish the glasses here, I think that finished them off quite nicely!!

These reindeer antlers are so stinking cute!!  I used a versa mark pen to make the lines all over the antlers and added some extra fine gold embossing powder to make them look more realistic.  I also added these to scrap pieces from one of the eye glasses cut out and created the ears for either side of the antlers!!  Last minute add on but so cute!!

Here's just a few of the other props I chose to use:  the pipe (can you see the smoke coming out the top) :o); I had already cut the round glasses but what fun they are so I had to do the rectangle shaped ones too!!  I also use a piece of clear card stock from The Cutting Cafe between the layers of both pair of glasses to give them finished feel! The bow tie is just to cute NOT to have cut and embellished!!  LOL!

Last, but CERTAINLY NO LESS, here comes Santa Claus!!!  Oh, when I had the idea to grab some of my pillow stuffing materials to embellish these babies I was dancing a jig!!  It finished it off so well!!  I love it!!  You could also get this same effect using cotton balls all pulled apart!!

Graduation BINGO

It's been a while since I've been here but today I want to share a card I made for a special young man so dear!!  He helps me out around the house and some times just comes by to hang out!  I love this little guy with all things 💖 and thank God for sending him my way!  Today's project is a graduation card I made using the BINGO Set from The Cutting Cafe and I really love how it turned out!!

There are several files for many different occasions of BINGO boards but what I loved most was blank board so I could customize it to fit my needs.  I created my BINGO card using my Silhouette software, this awesome graduation card for him is what I came up with:

Because I used my software and the blank BINGO card I was able to insert images and letters to suit my needs,  ironically the words "CONGRATS GRAD 2017" fit perfectly in the number of boxes provided plus I was able to create a "got BINGO" pattern using a grad cap!!  I did a diagonal BINGO pattern in give the sense of flipping off the cap at the you remember doing that!!  Yea, that might be kinda corny...but I love it!  lol!!  Glossy accent and Wink of Stella finish off the sparkle.

Any who, hope you enjoyed my share for today, go over to The Cutting Cafe blog and check out all the inspiration for this BINGO Set and get creating!!  Don't forget while your there, leave a comment on the post to be entered for a drawing to receive free files from the cafe!!

Happy Crafting!!

Let's Get Organized!

Hey there, Chauntelle here, thanks for stopping by my blog today!! For this week's Cutting Cafe Post we were challenged to post some pics of our crafty space!!  What I've learned is this; although it doesn't take a large space to craft there is a definite need to keep things organized, otherwise it can get out of control!!  LOL!  So today I'd like to share with you two of my most "purchased" items and how I've chosen to store them.

My clear and rubber stamp collections in my mind are a little crazy!!  I love sentiment stamps, animal stamps, background stamps, cute stamps of people (I really love them all) lol.  This space is still under some construction, I'm trying to decide how to categories them (by company, by occasion, etc) but for the most part they are all here and somewhat organized.

Some of the draws are labeled on the outside already but the ones on the right I know what's in them....The Cutting Cafe Shop happens to have its own draw!!  These bins have all been purchased from Walmart Stores and fit perfectly under my work desk.  This keeps them close to me so I can just reach down and grab a stamp in the midst of my creative time!

I am also a huge "Card Kit" buyer and they were starting to outgrow the small space where they were stored above my desk.  I found these bins at Staples (on sale (yaass)) and I'm really loving this new solution.

Check out this video I posted really diving into how its done!

Whelp, I think that's all I've got!!  Thanks for stopping by today! Let me know your thoughts and/or suggestions about how I can best categories my stamp collections, I'd love to hear your input!!

Until next time, Happy Crafting!!

Something like a "Coo-kie Mons-ter"!

Hahaha, hey there!  Chauntelle here!  Loving the title of this post and still laughing as I type this text because I am a F*A*N of Cookie Monster from Sesame Street!!  He is my guy!!  hahaha

Anywho, I think I'm good now so on to my project for this 7th day of March for The Cutting Cafe!!  Today also happens to be my baby sister's birthday!!  She's a big girl now (in her 30's but still my "baby sister"!!  So, here's a quick HAPPY BIRTHDAY SISSY shout out to her!!

Today's project I used the Cookie Jar Cutting File to create this cute card for my mother (whose like my friend) for her birthday on the 14th of this month....soooo.....HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY MOMMY too!! woot woot!!

So, I tried using a new product I received in a monthly kit I order called Nuvo Mousse.  It seems easy enough to apply and is suppose to make your project glimmer.....I don't see it!  :o)  Nonetheless, I trucked on!!
Here's a close up so you can see.  I covered the sentiment with the mousse but all I can see is it covered parts of my letters (I used a dry cloth to try and rub it off) which doesn't look bad, its "artsy" I went with it!

The sentiment also comes with the set without the "birthday"; I simply typed that out and cropped it into place.  I fussy cut around the letters and adhered it to the front of the card, popped up.

Here's a full view of the card:

I print and cut the stack of cookies (which comes with the file) and layered them on the front panel, then I added a piece of vellum to the checkered trim and placed that on top of the cookies!!  Looks like a frosted cookie jar in real-life!!

I am loving this project and know my mother will love it too!!  I'm working on my sister's card, she's away celebrating so to receive it late won't matter!  LOL....oh to be in my 30's again!!

Well, thank you all for stopping by today and don't forget to head on over to The Cutting Cafe blog to check out all the awesome project the design team has created!!

Until we blog again......happy crafting!!

Hi there, Chauntelle here; welcome to my design team post for the 21st day of February for The Cutting Cafe!!  This project is made using the Paper Beads set available in the shop, it comes with a variety of designs to create stylish beads you can use to create jewelry!!  I made this super cute purple necklace and earrings to match for my daughter and I know she's going to love them because they are purple!!  :o)

The set also comes with a box file you can use to hold the pieces you create, I made and decorated a box in purple to give this special gift using my favorite tear drop pearls and some purple flowers to keep the theme going!

 Here's an angle view:

Here's a top view:

Love Me 360

Hey there, Chauntelle here and welcome to my blog post this 7th day of February for The Cutting Cafe!!  I really quickly and simply cut the Love Word Window card on my cameo and put together this quick card to attach to a gift.  It was super easy to do and the file comes with all the pieces you need, including a layer to cut some clear card stock for making a shaker card!!

Here's a look at what I did:

I used paper from a new stack by Craft Smith called Bella Flora.  I picked up this paper pad at Micheals.  I added a pearl trim to hide the foam tape I used to create my shaker card area and a bling piece in the center of the letter O for fun.  This card, without adjusting the cut settings, measures 4" in diameter so it will fit in a standard sized envelope!

Anywho, thank you so very much for stopping by and checking out my post for today.  Happy Crafting!!
