Hippity Hoppity

Hello there!!  Welcome back to my blog for my dt project share for The Cutting Cafe!! Easter time is almost upon us and although the resurrection of our Jesus Christ is the general premise of the holiday our children (and me too) have grown up knowing all about the magic of Mr. Peter Cottontail!!  So, as most of you know, my children are older so we don't do the egg painting and such anymore but I do like to decorate the office a bit for the holiday.  In addition to some other items I have for decor I used the Tissue Box Cutting File to create this adorable holder for the office!!

I love the way it turned out!!

I used a 6x6 paper pad by Webster's Pages to layer up the box sides and an flower edge punch with green paper.  The cute little bunny is a wood piece I picked up at Target in a pack of like 8; the pastel styrofoam eggs are from The Dollar Tree and if you look to the right I have some egg shaped foam stickers to accent the other three sides of the box!!

I've been making these tissue boxes all year to coincide with the holiday for that month and I'm totally addicted!! This file I just print on my ink-jet printer and cut with a scissor....that's how easy it is to use the files from The Cutting Cafe!!

Please do stop by the Cafe and check out the design teams inspiration for this week and remember to leave a comment for a chance to win free files!!

Blessings & Craft Happiness!! and Happy Easter too!!

Take Note...

Hey there! Its Inspiration Time over at The Cutting Cafe!!  This week's project we were able to use any project from the Cafe that we wanted it just had to incorporate the color green. I have been working on 2015 Reminder Date calendars for me and some of my family; my sister's favorite color just so happens to BE green AND her book I WAS planning to make using green colors!!  How awesome and ironic are all of these facts!!'s what I made:

I used the Mini calendar printable set and 2015 calendar printable set. I have a video currently available on my YouTube channel of a book I made previously.  You can click here to check it out.  The adorable Zumba girl image comes courtesy of PinkBowTies and she works perfectly for my sister because she is a zumba fanatic and with her busy schedule this book will definitely help her keep it all together!!  I hope she loves what I've made for her.

I hope you have been inspired!!  Thanks for stopping by!!
