Blog Tour
Hey there...Chauntelle here!! Thanks for stopping by today!! First I'd like to take a moment to thank Regina Easter for thinking of me to participate in the blog tour!! I'm so enamored with Regina and her products that I jumped at the opportunity to work with her in the capacity!!
Would you like to get to know me a little better?? Check out my responses to the question below:
1. What am I working on?
Currently I am working on a few projects: my next design team project, some 2015 calendars for my family I'd like to give them as Christmas gifts, a 2015 planner for my daughter AND I had this idea to make her a cute little pouch/organizer to hold all the important documents she may need for her new member of the family!! Yaay, she adopted a 7 year old Yorkie!! He's sooo super cute and adorable!!
2. How does my work differ from others of its genre?
I believe my work differs from others who do what I do because we are all individuals and although we use a lot of the same products each person may see something different. For instance, I love Shabby Chic "EverythinG" but when I craft in that style I may not add as much lace or flowers as another crafter would because I also like things to be simple....intrusive so to speak. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE their works of art but for me personally its just not where I would go first.
3. Why do I write/create what I do?
I have found this new love of crafting just recently over the last 8 years. I love to create and share with others because it makes people smile!! I have always been a person who cares more about others feelings than myself so of course it makes my heart skip a beat when I create something for someone and they express to me all the joy and happiness they feel!! That's the best part for me!
4. How does your writing/creating process work?
My creative process usually always starts with an idea; a picture, stamp and word saying. I then translate that into either a card, layout of something altered. I'm a pretty swift crafter; however, my thought process can sometimes take me days.....weeks even! :o)
Thank you so much for stopping by today and checking out my input for the Blog Tour and thanks again to Regina for the invitation!!
My crafting started out as a longing to make personalized cards for my family and friends. |
I have since ventured off to altering things around the house; or brought for the house!! LOL!! |
And even taking containers and re-purposing them into something new and useful!! I'm in love with what I'm able to do! |
